Today I pray that I would reflect the love of Jesus
Scripture: Jeremiah 31:3 "Yes, I have loved you my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself." Focus & Meaning: Everlasting Love = God’s love is often described as eternal and unchanging, enduring through all circumstances and throughout eternity.
Every day God thinks of you. Psalm 68:19 … For each day he carries us in his arms
Every hour God looks after you. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful; he will strength you and guard you from the evil one.
Every minute God cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.
Because every second He loves you Jeremiah 31:3 .. I have loved you my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself
Caring for people is about extending emotional, social, and spiritual support in various ways. It means playing a role in the restoration of individuals, helping them find wholeness and guiding them beyond their circumstances.
Just as a shepherd tends to his sheep, we are called to care for one another. The question is, are we willing to mirror Christ's love and demonstrate our care for one another? Christ set the perfect example by loving people personally, with tenderness, compassion, and grace.
We can put this into practice through our actions and words. In today's society, we can offer peer support, nurture, guidance, empowerment, encouragement, reconciliation, and the gift of prayer. Sending written reminders to our loved ones, highlighting how precious they are in God's eyes, is another meaningful way to express our care.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord, as we journey through life, help us to remember all that You have done for us. Empower us to share your love with others, providing the emotional, social, and spiritual support they need. May our words and actions reflect your love and grace.
As we remember You every hour, day, minute, and second, make us acutely aware of those around us who require care and support. We thank You, Lord, for carrying us in every possible way.
