Day 7

Today I pray for healing and deliverance, for those in bondage to be set free

Scripture: Psalm 34:17-19 "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all." Deliverance: Where God delivers us out of physical, emotional, and spiritual bondage; it is through prayer, forgiveness, renouncing lies and sealing our lives with the blood of Jesus which allows us to be rescued and set free

In Psalm 34:17-19, we find a message of hope, deliverance, and comfort. This passage assures us that even in the midst of trials and troubles, God is near to the brokenhearted and offers His deliverance. Today, we'll explore the significance of finding comfort and deliverance in difficult times through this beautiful scripture.

The Reality of Troubles:

Life is full of challenges. We face personal trials, loss, disappointments, and hardships. At times, it may feel like the weight of the world is upon our shoulders, leaving us brokenhearted and in need of comfort.

God's Promise of Deliverance:

In Psalm 34:17-19, we see a powerful promise. It reminds us that the righteous cry out to the Lord, and He hears them. God is not distant in our times of trouble; He is intimately involved in our struggles. He extends His hand of deliverance to rescue us from our troubles and to comfort our wounded spirits.

Nearness to the Brokenhearted:

One of the most profound aspects of this passage is the assurance that God is near to the brokenhearted. He doesn't stand aloof or indifferent to our pain; He draws close to those who are hurting. In our moments of vulnerability and despair, He offers His comforting presence and solace.

The Righteous Person's Perspective:

It's important to note that this passage speaks of the "righteous" person who cries out to the Lord. Righteousness isn't about perfection; it's about turning to God in faith and trust, seeking His guidance and deliverance. When we cry out to Him, He responds with love and compassion.

In difficult times, when our hearts are broken and our souls are weary, Psalm 34:17-19 provides a beacon of hope. It reminds us that God hears our cries, offers deliverance from our troubles, and comforts our broken hearts. As we navigate life's challenges, we can rest in the assurance that God is near, extending His loving hand to guide us to a place of peace and restoration.

Let us take comfort in the truth that we can turn to God in our moments of distress. In Him, we find not only deliverance from our troubles but also the unfailing comfort that comes from His presence.
